Paris Halliwell was created by Brad Kern for the tv-series, Charmed. However, all character traits and plots throughout Fated belong to TotallyWitchy.

I realized that I can die at any moment. That at any moment we can be taken out of this world. We learned that with Carrie, and again today. And I don’t want to die not knowing what could have been. Not knowing if something was returned. Not knowing if I could have been happy with someone.
Paris to Junior in A House of Death

Paris Patricia Halliwell is the third and final child of Phoebe Halliwell and Coop. She is the third Cupid-Witch know to exist and to be born. Paris is also the youngest of the Charmed Ones' birth children.

Paris is a member of the Fated Ones and therefore has access to the Power of Eight. She can only access this power with her other cousins.

She is a powerful witch - much like her two older sisters. She possesses the basic powers of a witch; the ability to cast spellsbrew potions, and scry for lost objects or persons. Her ability to cast spells is Advanced, and this allows her to cast and create extremely powerful spells. She also has the power of Premonition and Dream Precognition, similar to that of her mother, Phoebe's.

Furthermore, if the need should prove great enough, she and her sisters may one day be able to access The Power of Three; the collective power of the Charmed Ones. In the episode A Visit To Another Time, it's official that Paris and her sisters are the new Charmed Ones, and can access the Power of Three.

Early History

After breaking Cupid laws several times, Coop was called before a court at Cupid's Temple. The judge ruled that Coop was only allowed to see his family once a year, on the anniversary of his wedding. If he broke the rules, he and his daughters would be stripped of their powers. Phoebe argued that they didn't need powers, though Coop explained that he would die the moment his immortality was stripped. After a distraught Phoebe returned home, she revealed she was pregnant with her third daughter.

After learning of the pregnancy, her Aunts, Piper and Paige, went before the council and managed to get the charges dropped. However, Coop and his family are held on a tight leash when it comes to the laws. Because of her Aunts going before the court, she and her sisters were able to keep their magic.

Paris' conception was planned, as her parents wanted another child.

Her mother went into labor with her on June 9th, 2012, but Paris wasn't born until the next day, June 10, 2012, at San Francisco Memorial Hospital. Her mother had a natural birth, and her entire family was present.

Paris was born when her oldest sister was five years old, meaning that she is five years younger than P.J. and three years younger than Parker. She is the second youngest of the nine cousins (the youngest being Henry), but the youngest of the Charmed Ones' birth children.

Magic and School

When she was younger, she used to practice magic frequently. It became quite apparent that she is a strong witch, and she was unable to attend the mortal school with her siblings because of her magical traits. She went to Magic School until she was twelve years old, before switching over to Elementary School.

Paris often felt that she didn't belong anywhere, for Prue and her cousins were too old for her to play with, and Parker was often too shy to play with her. This caused her to become more involved with magic, and delve deeper into the arts.

Before Season One

Prior to Season 1 beginning, Paris spent(s) most of her time in her room practicing spells. She often found it easier to talk to her youngest adopted cousin, Henry Junior, for they are closer in age. She distanced herself from her family, taking her own time to get adjusted to her powers and magic. She loses control of her magic many times, and fears she may hurt someone.

Physical Appearance

Paris description

Paris's outfit

Paris is a very beautiful young 18-year-old woman. She has blue eyes, full lips, rosy cheeks, lightly tanned skin and long, dark brown hair worn in loose waves. She stands at 5'3" and her frame is slim and petite.

She is usually seen wearing darker shades such as gray and black. She often wears heeled boots or regular ankle boots. She likes relaxed yet stylish clothing, that allows her to be flexible when demon hunting. She is often seen wearing jeans. Red and blue are the colors she wears often. She also wears jewelry, such as bracelets (her protection bracelet) and necklaces. Her standard outfit consists of a blouse, dark-colored jeans trousers and a jacket made of denim.

Some fans have noticed the similarity between her and Prudence Halliwell in looks, as both have dark hair and clear eyes. They both also wore relaxed clothing and are known for their beauty.

In the Pilot episode, she was seen in a dress for the first and only time so far, as it was a special occasion. Her hair was also pinned up and she had on heavier makeup them in other episodes such as Dancing The Devil's Jig.

Paris wears some jewelry (always her protection bracelet and her cupid bracelet), with some make-up.

Paris smiling

Paris is a quiet girl living a sheltered life, that she trying to break out of. She seems to be used to getting her way, and when things go awry, she is short-tempered and has a fiery temper. She desperately wants to prove herself to her family and, in some ways, to herself as well. She has an inferiority complex towards her cousins and sisters - specifically Prue and Melinda, due to her lack of a powerful active power. This pushes and adds to her desire to prove herself, and show that she is worth just as much as others.

She is described as rebellious and courageous. She's not afraid to try new things, a trait that she inherited from her mother. She can also be very restless, impatient and quick-witted, all traits from her maternal family. Her words seem to be what gets her in the most trouble, as she says things before thinking them through, or blurts out things that she should be keeping to herself. However, her base personality seems to be that of a sweet girl longing for more than she has. She is very loyal to her friends and family, as everything they've done for her she feels like she owes them. She is also intelligent, kind, loving, and gentle-natured with a hard-working side to her.

Powers and Abilities

For a more detailed version of Paris Halliwell's powers and abilities, please see her Power Page.

Paris is a cupid-witch, meaning that she has powers of a cupid and a witch. While Paris struggles with her active powers, she excels at spell casting and potion making; much like her mother.

P.J. Halliwell

Main article: Prue and Paris

Paris and her sister Prue were very close, as they had been together through everything, and Paris is Prue's little sister. But as of late, they have drifted apart, and Paris has shown a bit of resentment towards her oldest sister, Prue, because of her master over her skills as a witch. This has fueled Paris to constantly be practicing magic and trying to make herself good as well. Prue desperately wants to connect with her little sister and fears that she may never know her baby sister.

Parker Halliwell

Main article: Paris and Parker

Parker and Paris are siblings, and Parker has tried to connect with Paris but they don't seem to be able to do so. Parker doesn't believe that Paris can do these advanced spells, and believes that Magic School is taking favorites. They don't seem to be very close, but they still love each other more than anything and would hate for either one to get hurt.

Henry Mitchell Junior

Main article: Paris and Junior

Junior and Paris were close, and they eventually felt attracted to each other. However, Paris hid her feelings, while Junior, even if he was attracted by Pear, dated other girls. They care about each other deeply. For example, Junior was worried for Paris in Don't Mess With Magic, because she's didn't feel very well. In A House of Death, after she almost dies, Paris admitted her feelings. However, even if he agrees, Junior states that it wasn't a good idea since they are cousins, leaving Paris heart-broken.

Notes and Trivia

  • Her middle name is that of maternal Grandmothers, Patricia Halliwell.
  • Paris and her sisters are all cupid-witch hybrids and are the first ones to be born in the Warren line of witches. In fact, they are possibly the only cupid-witch hybrids in existence, as future Wyatt specifically mentioned that the love between Phoebe and Coop was not forbidden, making it likely that normally a relationship between a witch and a cupid is not allowed.
  • She is the youngest of the birth Fated Ones.
  • Paris and her sisters could inherit the Power of Three, and become the next Charmed Ones.
  • Paris' relationship with her sisters was created to resemble that of the original Charmed Ones, Prudence, Piper, Phoebe, and later Paige.
  • Billie Jenkins-Raven is Paris' aunt. She acts as a surrogate aunt like Aunt Gail was to the Charmed Ones.
  • Her powers so far resemble that of Phoebe's but are stronger than her mother's in some ways.
  • She is taking Martial Arts classes.
  • Paris is very similar of Phoebe, in the first season of Charmed.
